www.terrygarland.comBlazing Saddles, Inc., is a nonprofit (501c3) organization comprised of many individuals dedicated to providing a unique and enjoyable therapeutic equestrian experience for children and adults with special needs in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. The program's success is a result of many years of volunteer endeavors combined with the generosity of individuals, families, and business owners throughout the High Country.
Founded in 1985, Blazing Saddles is an active member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), which provides our program with resources and standards of education, certification and accreditation, and programs geared to the safety in all of its therapeutic riding offerings.
Blazing Saddles is located at the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show Grounds, located off HWY 221S in Blowing Rock, NC, home of the oldest charity horse show in the US.

Directions to the Arena:
Blazing Saddles is located at the Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve on Hwy 221 in Blowing Rock. From Hwy 321 as you get to Blowing Rock, follow 221 South and 321 Business. Once in Blowing Rock, follow 221 South towards Linville. Go 0.9 miles from the light in Blowing Rock. Turn left onto Laurel Lane. Go 0.3 miles and turn left at sign. Go 0.1 mile, bear left just before the "L.M. Tate Horseshow grounds" sign and go past grandstands into parking area.
