Horse Treats
Horse Treats are fun to eat and the horses love them too! The Blazing Saddles horses can only have treats in their feed buckets (hand feeding can cause the horse to nip).

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup bran cereal
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.
  • Lightly oil your hands so the dough doesn't stick to them.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls.
  • Place on lightly greased cookie sheet - close together, as these keep their shape and do not spread out on the pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
