Volunteers

Blazing Saddles would not exist without its dedicated group of volunteers!!! Volunteers are present in all areas of the Blazing Saddles organization. Volunteers are always welcomed to assist in many areas including serving on the board of directors, assisting with fund raising and special events, instructing, and promotion and program development.

Volunteer Learning Opportunities
No horse experience? No problem! We train all our volunteers who want to work with the horses how to properly handle them in a therapeutic setting. Volunteer training sessions are held at the beginning of the riding season and then throughout the season as needed. Additional opportunities related to horse care, training, exercising and maintaining the horses are available on an individual basis.
